No game account required
RIFTBERRY does not require an account, real name, or email address. The game offers a nickname and broad age-group choice; it does not ask for a birth date. There is no account, cloud-save service, or online leaderboard that uploads your game save to Oznex Studios.
Information stored on your device
Your nickname, age group, completed levels, stars, best moves, sound/language/display preferences, tutorial status, character, colors, accessories, and berry balance are stored in the app's local save area. Local transaction records may also prevent the same reward from being granted twice. These records let you continue your progress and keep your cosmetics. The game does not attach this profile and progress record to advertising requests.
Players under 18 or with no age specified
Choosing Under 13, 13–17, or Not Now leaves advertising and advertising-consent services uninitialized. Ads are not served to these players. An unspecified age is not assumed to mean adult. If the age group changes after an advertising session has already started, ads are stopped and the app must be reopened to fully apply the new audience setting.
Advertising and privacy choices for adults
On Android, players selecting 18 or older enter Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) privacy check, which displays a consent message when required. Google Mobile Ads starts only when that flow permits ad requests. The game requests non-personalized ads (npa=1) with a maximum G content rating. Watching rewarded ads is optional; occasional interstitial ads may appear between levels. Ads do not change puzzle rules or character abilities. Where required, you can reopen advertising privacy choices from Settings. Gameplay continues if the advertising service is unavailable.
Data advertising services may process
When enabled for adults, Google's advertising SDK collects and shares IP addresses (which may indicate approximate location), app/device information, identifiers such as the app set ID and, where applicable, device account-related identifiers, app/ad interactions, and performance diagnostics. These data support advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google states that SDK data are encrypted in transit using TLS. RIFTBERRY removes Android's AD_ID permission; this does not eliminate every SDK identifier or network data type. Google handles these data under its own policies.
Deleting data and managing backups
On Android, open Settings → Apps → RIFTBERRY → Storage and choose Clear data / Clear storage to remove your local profile, progress, and cosmetics. Clearing only the cache is not enough. Uninstalling may also remove local data; archiving an app is different. Operating-system backup and device-transfer features may keep or restore your nickname, age group, progress, preferences, and cosmetics according to your settings. Manage those backups separately through your device or account backup controls. There is no developer-hosted game account to delete.
Other versions and this website
This Android advertising disclosure does not mean an advertising SDK is present on iOS. The current iOS/desktop/web game versions do not run this Android advertising bridge. A browser game version may store progress in that site's browser storage; clearing its site data removes that save. This promotional website uses no advertising, analytics code, cookies, or contact form. Language selection uses separate page links. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request information in technical logs to deliver pages and protect the service.
Support, retention, and changes
If you email support, your email address and the information you send are processed through the email service so we can reply. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary personal information. Local game records remain on the device until deleted; support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations. Google's retention practices are governed by Google's policies. Use the publisher contact below for privacy questions or requests to delete support correspondence. If our data practices change, this policy and the store disclosures will be updated.
